Can anyone create a store at Createastore.com?
No. We realize that our service, especially since we offer a free version, attracts all kinds of unscrupulous vendors. To foster trust in the on-line community, we required all our stores to post their contact information including physical address (not P.O. box) and telephone phone at their on-line storefront along with their business hours. Moreover, we reserve the right to remove any store which we deem is engaged in improper conduct.
If you can't meet these requirements or simply find them too onerous, we suggest you look elsewhere for your on-line storefront needs. If you are able and willing to satisfy these requirements you are welcome to try our system.
Who qualifies as a *small entity? Who can use our service for Free?
We encourage businesses to bring their operations on-line. However, we realize that for small businesses in particular, cost often is a significant constraint. We therefore give qualifying small entities a 'break' by offering our services for Free. (However we still encourage them to subscribe to our Other Services)
To qualify as a *small entity, you must:(see our legal agreement for more details)
- have less than 100 employees
- be privately held
- not be listed on any stock exchange, and
- have revenues of less than $2,000,000.
